Meet Our Therapists

James Daber
James DaberATC | Clinical Director
Mr. James Daber, ATC is the Clinical Director of Matawan Physical Therapy and has been helping patients in the NY/NJ area for over 7 years. He graduated from Kean University and has practiced as a therapist/trainer specializing in orthopedic rehabilitation and sports performance training. He has also been trained in Redcord Suspension Therapy which is a sought-after and innovative tool originating in Norway.
Connie Wang

Connie Wang, L.Ac, Dip.O.M. (NCCAOM)

Connie Wang L.Ac is a Licensed Acupuncturist in New Jersey and New York. She holds a Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM) from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City, where she studied several styles of acupuncture along with other treatment techniques such as cupping, moxibustion, gua sha, Shiatsu and Tui Na manipulation. Connie has helped many people with conditions such as acute sports injuries, chronic pain, post-surgery recovery, neuropathy symptoms, amongst many others. She is also an active volunteer for American TCM Society (ATCMS) in New York where she interprets acupuncture continuing education workshops given by renowned professors and masters invited from China.

Gabby has a B.A. in Developmental Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She loves helping people set goals and making sure they stay on track to achieve them. She grew up in Matawan and loves how community driven Matawan Physical Therapy is. Gabby played softball up until college where she developed a passion for Mixed Martial Arts. She is also a DIE HARD hockey fan and a firm believer that if ‘they’ say it’s impossible; it’s impossible for them, not you.
Dr Dustin Garlock
Dr Dustin GarlockPT, DPT, TPI
Dr. Dustin Garlock, PT, DPT, TPI certified, has been working with clients in New York and New Jersey for over 5 years. Dustin graduated from Ithaca College and has focused on orthopedic conditions and athletic performance. Dustin is trained in Redcord Suspension Therapy and Titleist Performance Institute golf screening. When not practicing physical therapy, he enjoys running, golfing, and spending time with friends and family.
